The day after Thanksgiving, Racer foundered. It hit out of the blue, there were no warning signs. No stiffness of joints, no favoring the leg,  one minute he was galloping the fields with his buddy Traveler and the next, he was unable to move. What followed was a painful, confusing and scary time trying to get a handle on this condition, bring my horse out of pain and keep my sanity......
