The Fighter in Him PDF Print E-mail

Everyday this horse continued to amaze me. He continued to get stronger, suffered no crashes, and was blowing so many abscesses out the bottom of his feet that I lost count...

Feb. 3, 2004

This afternoon, I fed the horses in the far field to get the boys out of the mud. The mud is quite intense by their stalls. Trav comes at a fast clip and lo-and-behold here comes Racer not at a gallop, but at a fast trot! His ears were pinned, I knew he was hurting and I hollered him to HOLD but he didn't........sigh.......

Now he is laying down in the field the twit-oose!

I'll give him this, he's a fighter!
