Sorry about the pause in here, but I have been scrambling for answers and none are forthcoming (yet).  Both the vet and the farrier do not believe that this episode (for lack of a better word) is founder. The vet isn't committing himself yet, and my farrier says it looks like a joint problem. Racer has gone from acting like a 9 year old horse, to one that might be 30! He does not want to move, and when he does, he moves like an old man shuffle. His legs tremble, but there is no pulse, and no heat.
