Racer continues to move about the pasture like an old man. He walks, just with not much vigor, and I fear his running days are over. He is confined now only at night, and the bug armor, although a great idea in theory, in application, it didn't work. He is Houdini-like in his ability to get out of this an we have tried modifying it several times over to get it to fit. Finally gave up, and got some special salve from the vet to put on the fly lesions.

He was x-rayed and his bone is rotating. I am going to attempt to put a few of the x-rays on here, so readers can see that the coffin bone has indeed pulled away from the hoof wall and is pointed now dreadfully close to the sole of his foot.

All I can do know is wait and see what happens-
